Our client is a global distributor of hardware and software solutions, offering e-commerce & logistics services to its partners. The client is developing a state-of-art back & front office solution to streamline the management of clients, invoices, requests, delivery of parcels, returns and more. The project will last for a duration of 6 months.

Technical stack:

• Microservices architecture built on the top of Java & Spring;
• PostgreSQL database;
• Docker Compose;
• Auth0.

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Java and related technologies (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate seamless integration with front-end components and third-party services.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications using Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration for efficient scaling and management of services in cloud environments.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Work with cloud platforms to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud resources effectively.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and continuously improve development processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

• 4+ years of experience in back-end development with Java.
• Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, or similar.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and their services, especially for application deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services and microservices architecture.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Upper-intermediate English level.
