Our client is an insurance company that has created an application to help employees choose the right insurance products for clients. The app also allows employees to generate offers and manage insurance policies. It’s flexible and customized to work seamlessly in three different countries.

• Collaborate with the service provider and internal business teams to understand configuration guidelines and system requirements.

• Configure Sage People components and features to align with business needs and platform specifications, ensuring functionality is tailored and optimized.

• Conduct system integrations where necessary, utilizing connectors and APIs as per the setup requirements.

• Assist with data migrations, data mapping, and data quality checks as part of platform deployment.

• Check and maintain security settings, permissions, and profiles according to company standards and project needs in cooperation with IT operations and IT security departments.

• Document configurations, customizations, and any adaptations made to the system for future reference and for handover to support teams.

• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues and serve as a primary contact for configuration-related questions.

• Stay updated on platform updates, new releases, end-of-life and features to enhance configuration capabilities, in cooperation with IT operations and business.

• Design and document end-to-end system workflows and configuration processes to ensure scalability and sustainability.

• Manage change processes, including providing training to users on system updates or new features.

• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce development, Salesforce APIs and object-oriented programming (OOP).

• Experience with Automation tools and processes within Salesforce.

• Experience in developing and customizing Salesforce components, including Lightning components, Apex classes, and Visualforce pages, to meet business requirements.

• Experience with packaged development in Salesforce

• Experience with Salesforce Apex, ideally with Sage People or similar SaaS systems. Experience with similar platforms, like Mendix and others, could be considered also.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model;

• Experience with integration tools and technologies such as REST, SOAP, and JSON;

• Understanding of Sage People customization and configuration.

• Knowledge of Salesforce data structures, process builders, workflows, and security settings.

• Ability to interpret and implement setup guidelines from external service providers (mostly Sage People) and adapt configurations to fit business needs.

• Experience with data migration tools and integration techniques (basic knowledge of APIs preferred).

• Experience with CI/CD tools

• Upper-intermediate English level.
