About the project:
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Vilnius team. In this role, you will work on a project for an AI-native enterprise technology company headquartered in US, with a global presence and several international offices. The company delivers solutions in digital transformation, intelligent automation, and data-driven platform development, helping organizations improve efficiency and unlock greater value from their operations.
This is a product-focused role, so we highly value a product mindset and an interest in building solutions that create real business impact. You will collaborate directly with the client’s team and contribute to impactful, business-critical initiatives in a dynamic environment. This is a hybrid position based in Vilnius, offering a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of data
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for both batch and streaming data
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to build modern data solutions
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
- Support and improve existing data infrastructure and workflows
- Work with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Kafka) to process and analyze large datasets
What you bring:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong skills in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, Databricks)
- Understanding of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Upper-intermediate English level
