This remote position is open for candidates based within Sigli’s hiring regions: Europe, Balkans, Central Asia, Caucasus.
About the project:
Our client is a leading provider of ecommerce solutions for software and hardware resellers. Their ecommerce platform is the sales channel, offering a robust ecosystem of in-house and third-party services that support complex reseller transactions at scale.
To ensure long-term scalability, performance, and independence from third-party limitations, the client is undertaking a full rebuild of their ecommerce platform. This involves migrating from a legacy CMS/CRM system to a modern, fully custom solution built with React, Next.js and Node.js. The new platform will provide complete control over development, eliminate vendor lock-in, and support the evolving needs of their reseller network.
Team: around 10 people, 2-3 ppl from Sigli side.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and GraphQL APIs in Node.js(Fastify)/TypeScript
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure and deployments in Azure using Terraform
- Implement frontend features in React/Next.js and integrate them with GraphQL APIs
- Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability across the stack
- Collaborate with product/engineering stakeholders and take ownership of deliverables
What you bring:
- 5+years of production experience in backend JavaScript/TypeScript development
- Strong expertise in Node.js and GraphQL
- Hands-on experience building web applications using React
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform for cloud infrastructure
- Solid understanding of Next.js (SSR, SSG, API routes)
- Proficiency with React Query for data fetching, caching, and server-state synchronization
- Experience with TailwindCSS for responsive, utility-first UI development
- High attention to detail and consistency in both code and UI
- Self-sufficient, proactive mindset: ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency
- Experience with Fastify, Zod are nice to have
- Dutch language level B1 or higher is nice to have
