As a Product Owner, you will take ownership of our gateway products, driving roadmap, integrations, and improvements. You’ll work closely with engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure our gateways are reliable, scalable, and tailored to client and partner needs.

What you will do:
  • Define and manage the product roadmap for payment gateways and related services.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive integration projects with PSPs, acquirers, and banking partners.
  • Monitor and optimize transaction performance, reliability, and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, PSD2, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
  • Align with commercial teams to identify new market opportunities and partner requirements.
  • Track KPIs and ensure the gateway product delivers measurable business value.
What you need:
  • 3+ years as Product Owner / Product Manager in fintech, payments, or PSPs.
  • Hands-on experience with payment gateways, acquiring, processing, or merchant integrations.
  • Strong understanding of transaction flows, settlement, fraud prevention, tokenization.
  • Ability to balance technical detail with business priorities.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Upper-intermediate English level.
Would be nice if you have:
  • Familiarity with open banking APIs, APMs, or crypto payments.
  • Previous work in startup / scale-up environments.
  • Technical background (APIs, SDKs, architecture basics).
  • Upper-intermediate German level.
