This remote position is open for candidates based within Sigli’s hiring regions: Europe, Central Asia, Caucasus.

About the project:

We’re looking for a Python Software Engineer with around 3+ years of commercial experience to join a project focused on building a federated registry solution.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone comfortable working in a relatively early-stage environment, helping shape both the technical implementation and overall approach together with the team.

Start date: ASAP
Project duration: Until the end of Q3 2026

What you will do:

  • Establish and develop the federated registry architecture
  • Design and implement the registry API
  • Define user stories together with stakeholders and contribute to implementation planning
  • Participate in technical discussions and help shape architectural decisions
  • Collaborate closely with the team on infrastructure and deployment-related topics

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience with Python, Docker and Terraform
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to architecture discussions
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements
  • Experience with distributed systems or platform-level development
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Previous experience working in product-oriented or fast-moving teams
  • Upper-Intermediate English level
