We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to customize and configure the Sage People Salesforce Package, focusing primarily on flow and administrative tasks. The role involves close collaboration with HR, the system administrator, and the engineering manager. As part of a small team, attention to all aspects of the development process, including implementation, testing, deployment, and team communication, is essential.
Our client is an insurance company that has created an application to help employees choose the right insurance products for clients. The app also allows employees to generate offers and manage insurance policies. It’s flexible and customized to work seamlessly in three different countries.
- Collaborate with service providers and internal business teams to understand configuration guidelines and system requirements.
- Configure Salesforce components and features to align with business needs and platform specifications.
- Coordinate tasks to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Assist with data migrations, data mapping, and perform data quality checks.
- Maintain security settings, permissions, and profiles in accordance with company standards.
- Document configurations and customizations for future reference and support handovers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues as the primary contact for inquiries.
- Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, new releases, and features.
- Design and document end-to-end workflows and processes for scalability.
- Manage change processes and provide training to users on system updates or new features.
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and best practices.
- Proficiency with declarative tools (Flow Builder, Process Builder, Workflow Rules).
- Strong understanding of security settings, roles, profiles, and permission sets.
- Experience leading Salesforce projects and coordinating with teams.
- Experience with Data Loader, reports, dashboards, and managing custom objects/fields.
- Familiarity with AppExchange apps and deploying changes across environments.
- Familiarity with data migration tools, integration techniques (APIs preferred), and CI/CD tools.
- Ability to interpret and implement setup guidelines from external service providers (mostly Sage People) and adapt configurations to fit business needs.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
- Understanding of Sage People customization and configuration.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201).
- Experience with Salesforce development, including Lightning components, and Visualforce pages.
- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Experience with REST, SOAP, and JSON.
- Understanding of platforms like Mendix and others.
